Cedar Creek Mine Ride in Cedar Point ( Sandusky , Ohio , USA ) is a mine - steel roller coaster of the Mine Train type from the manufacturer Arrow Dynamics , which opened on May 24, 1969. It is both one of the first roller coasters to be designed by Ron Toomer and one of the manufacturer's first roller coasters.
