A steeplechase coaster is a roller coaster model that was produced by the manufacturer Arrow Dynamics from 1976 to 1977 and has been sold in a more modern version by the American roller coaster manufacturer S&S - Sansei Technologies since 2018 . Arrow Dynamics manufactured only two tracks in total, one of which is still in operation today.

history

In 1897 a Steeplechase attraction opened in the former New York Steeplechase Park. Arrow Dynamics took over the concept in the late 1970s and manufactured two roller coasters between 1976 and 1977. Since 2018, the American roller coaster manufacturer S&S - Sansei Technologies has been offering the Steeplechase Coaster again due to increased demand.

Steeplechase at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Steeplechase in the English amusement park Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the last still existing Steeplechase Coaster, which was built as the second model by Arrow Dynamics in 1977 and opened in the same year. The train has three lanes, on which the passengers can ride on rail riding horses of two people each.
