Busch Gardens is the name of two theme parks that were founded by the Anheuser Busch brewery and are now part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment , a subsidiary of the Blackstone Group . One Park is located in Tampa ( Florida ), the other in Williamsburg ( Virginia ).

Busch Gardens Tampa

Busch Gardens Tampa opened in March 1959 and has Africa as its theme. The theme park is one of the largest zoological institutions in the United States. It has more than 2,700 animals and numerous attractions and roller coasters , such as Rhino Rally , Montu , Kumba , Scorpion , Gwazi , Edge of Africa , Cheetah Hunt , SheiKra and Falcon's Fury .

Morocco
Bird Gardens
Is the original area of ​​the park founded in 1959. The brewery, which closed in 1995, was located in this area. The Gwazi Gliders is now at this point . The area also houses the Hospitality House , where you can get free Budweiser beer samples, and the Anheuser-Busch Beer School with information about beer production.
Land of Dragons
Opened in 1995, replacing Dwarf Village . The area contains roller coasters for children as well as a tree house.
Stanleyville
Inside are the water rides and the SheiKra roller coaster . Since 1977 there has been a boat tour called The African Queen Boat Ride , which was redesigned in 1989 and since the Tanganyika Tidal Wave . Stanleyville opened in 1973.
Congo
Inside are two of the park's most popular attractions: Congo River Rapids and Kumba, as well as Ubanga Banga Bumper Cars . In 2008, Jungala was also opened.
Timbuktu

Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Busch Gardens Williamsburg opened in May 1975 and has Europe as its theme. The main attractions of the park are Curse of DarKastle , Alpine spirit , Escape from Pompeii , Apollo's Chariot , Loch Ness Monster , Griffon and Verbolten . The park is divided into nine parts, each representing a European landscape.

Busch Gardens Dubai

On February 28, 2008, Busch Entertainment Corp. announced at SeaWorld of Florida that another park is to be opened in Dubai (UAE) in 2012 . However, the plans were suspended until further notice due to the financial crisis.
