Canada's Wonderland is an amusement park in Vaughan , Canada , around 30 kilometers north of Toronto . The 1.3 square kilometer theme park has around 200 attractions and 48 rides. The park, which opened on May 23, 1981, is open seasonally from May to October. The park belonged to the production company Paramount Pictures from 1994 to 2007 and was called Paramount Canada's Wonderland during that time . The park has been owned by the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company since 2007 . The number of visitors in 2016 was around 3.7 million.

As a special feature, there are two Hyper Coaster from the manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard in the park with Behemoth and Leviathan . ( There are also two Hyper Coaster from B&M in the Carowinds theme park .)
