Mondial Rides (also Mondial ) is a Dutch manufacturer of rides and leisure facilities based in Terband-Heerenveen.

history

Mondial was founded in 1987 in the Netherlands as a manufacturer for the entertainment and amusement industry and has specialized in the manufacture of transportable amusement rides and Ferris wheels. During this time the company has developed and launched almost 30 different rides. Most of the rides that have been built by Mondial are very common and well-known in Germany and are still an integral part of folk festivals and amusement parks.

Ride models

The Mondial Rides product range is divided into four areas:

  1. Travel businesses (Capriolo, Diablo, Furioso, Heart Breaker, Inferno , Jet Force, Mistral, Roll Over, Shake, Super Nova, Swinger, Top Scan, Tornado, Turbine)
  2. Tower or high-rise shops (Wind Seeker, Sky Riser, Sky Seeker, Observation Tower)
  3. Park shops (Splash Over, Revolution, Ultra Max, Turbine Park Model)
  4. Ferris wheels (RR 35, RR 45, RR 55, RR 80)

In November 2015, Mondial Rides built the largest transportable ferris wheel in the world. It is over 70 meters high and has 48 gondolas, each of which can accommodate 8 people per gondola. The maximum load per gondola is 600 kilograms. The Ferris wheel was built for the French Marcel Campion, who was also the former owner of the predecessor Ferris wheel, Roue de Paris .
