Den Constitutionelle was a Norwegian newspaper with an editorial office in Oslo that appeared between 1836 and 1847.

The editor was Johan Fjeldsted Dahl from the start ; The newspaper was edited by Ulrik Anton Motzfeldt . In 1840 Andreas Munch succeeded him as editor who edited the newspaper until it was hired.

The newspaper strongly supported the student “Intelligenspartiet”. The Norwegian encyclopedia Store norske leksikon describes the newspaper as a political “organ” of this student movement. Johan Sebastian Welhaven , Bernard Herre and Bernhard Dunker are among the most famous employees of the newspaper .
