The norske filmskolen

Den norske filmskolen is the only Norwegian film and television school. It was founded in 1997 as a separate department of Lillehammer University and is also located in Lillehammer .

The university offers three-year training in film and television with theoretical and practical lessons. Her now 220 graduates (as of 2013) include the directors Sara Johnsen , Roar Uthaug , Hisham Zaman and Hallvar Witzø . The latter was nominated for an Oscar for his graduation film Tuba Atlantic in 2012 , but was subsequently disqualified.
