The Deubner-Verlag is a specialist publisher of taxation and law, based in Cologne . The house belongs to WEKA Holding and publishes for tax and legal advisors and their employees.
In addition to the classic print editions, many titles appear on CD-ROM . They are supplemented and expanded by the Internet portals Law & Practice , Taxes & Practice and Deubner Academy .
The Deubner Verlag brands include Deubner Taxes and Practice, Deubner Law and Practice, Deubner Specialist, the Deubner Academy and, since 2008, the family law portal. In 1997 Deubner became part of the WEKA group of companies, which thus bundled its tax activities in Cologne. In 2002 Deubner integrated the publishing house law and practice and expanded his business to include lawyers and notaries. Deubner has been offering products for legal and notary assistants since 2005.
In 2007 Deubner Verlag GmbH & Co. KG employed 53 people in Cologne. The house was founded in 1974 by Peter Deubner, the successor to the Deubner family of booksellers and publishers from Latvia, whose name is now part of several German publishers.
