German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce
The German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Norway for short ; Norwegian Norsk-Tysk Chamber of Commerce ) is based in Oslo and is part of a global network of German chambers of commerce abroad at 130 locations in over 90 countries.
Functions
Based on a resolution by the German Bundestag, it is partially funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology . The German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce combines three functions: it is the official representative of the German economy in Norway. In addition, it is a member organization for bilateral companies and also offers German and Norwegian companies services to support their foreign trade activities.

The German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1986 with the aim of maintaining and improving bilateral trade relations and investments between Norway and Germany. Today the organization has around 660 member companies from a wide variety of sectors and industries.
