German Society for Biophysics

The German Society for Biophysics (DGfB) is an association for the promotion of science and research in the field of biophysics . Members can be those who “have proven themselves through scientific work in the field of biophysics or who have decisively and decisively promoted biophysics ”. The association is based in Frankfurt am Main . He is a member of the Union of German Biological Societies and the European Biophysical Societies Association .

The society is divided into three sections:

  • Molecular biophysics
  • Membranes, cells and networks
  • Radiation and Environmental Biophysics

activities

Every year the society organizes an annual meeting and symposia in the three sections.
