German gymnastics championships 1940

The German Gymnastics Championships in 1940 took place as the 1st German War Championship on March 10th in the Deutschlandhalle in Berlin .

Kurt Krötzsch (Leuna) was the champion in the individual all-around competition, ahead of Willi Stadel (Constance) and Franz Beckert (Neustadt).

Willi Stadel became the individual champion on parallel bars and horizontal bars, Krötzsch on pommel horse and floor and Hans Friedrich (Munich) in horse jumping .
