German Youth Photo Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Youth Photo Prize has been awarding the best photos of children, young people and young photographers under 26 years of age since 1962. The prizes are awarded by the jury in four age groups (up to 10 years, 11 to 15 years, 16 to 20 years, 21 to 25 years). The Children's and Youth Film Center in Germany (KJF), which is part of the Remscheid Academy for Cultural Education, usually organizes the German Youth Photo Prize at two-year intervals. The prize is donated and financed by the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth and funded by the Ministry for Family, Children, Youth, Culture and Sport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Photo Industry Association and photokina.
