German Vorruppbund

The German Vorruppbund (DVB) was a group within the early youth movement and the life reform movement .

history

Since the beginning of 1912, the magazine Der Vorrupp has appeared under the editorship of Hans Paasche and Hermann Martin Popert . Half-monthly publication for the Germanness of our time . Building on the time-critical Dürerbund novel Helmut Harringa von Popert, the vanguard tried to summarize all efforts to reform life. As a result of the publication of the booklets, the readers gathered in interest groups, the bundling of which led to the establishment of the German Advocacy Association in September 1912. At the end of 1913 the federal government had 4,000 members in around 150 local groups. The federal government was one of the founders of the Free German Youth and in October 1913 co-hosted the First Free German Youth Day on the Hoher Meissner .
