German Institute for Youth Welfare and Family Law

The German Institute for Youth Welfare and Family Law is a German lobby in the field of child and youth welfare and family law . The office is in Heidelberg . Members are the cities and districts for their youth welfare offices, as well as eleven state youth welfare offices, six state ministries and eight institutions that are part of independent youth welfare organizations.

When it was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1906, it was called the Archive of German Professional Guardians , from 1955 the German Institute for Guardianship (DIV) and now the German Institute for Guardianship .
