The Deutsche TalsperrenKomitee eV (DTK) is a registered association . The DTK has been the German group of the International Commission for Large Dams (ICOLD) since 1931 . The DTK endeavors to disseminate knowledge, experience and competence of the German dam system internationally and, conversely, to make international developments in the planning, construction and operation of dams known at national level. The DTK is actively involved in the national specialist committees and in the ICOLD activities to ensure the flow of information. The promotion of young talent is of particular importance at the DTK.
