Dharanindravarman II.

Dharanindravarman II was King of the Khmer Empire of Phanom Rung , Buriram Province , Thailand between 1150 and 1160 . He belonged to the Madharapura dynasty , which ruled between 802 and 1219 and was able to secure considerable independence from Angkor for their regional empire. His father was King Hiranyavarman .

His son and heir to the throne Jayavarman VII is known as one of the most ambitious builders of temple complexes and statues in Angkor .
