The That El Emad Towers ( Arabic مجمع ذات العماد, DMG Muǧammaʿ Ḏāt al-ʿImād ) is a complex of five high-rise buildings in Tripoli , Libya . They are located in the inner-city El Saddi District near the old town and today's "Martyrs' Square", which was called "Green Square" during the reign of Muammar al-Gaddafi . The construction phase lasted from 1984 to 1990, with the buildings being constructed by an Italian company. The lake view from the 18-storey building is worth mentioning.
