Emperor Zhì ( Chinese  帝 摯 , Pinyin Dì Zhì ) or Zhì for short was a legendary Chinese emperor. He was born as the eldest son of Emperors Ku and Changyi (常 儀). He ruled from 2344 BC. BC to 2334 BC Until he died and passed his office on to his younger brother Yao . His birthplace was Qinghua (清化, east of today 's Bo'ai County , which belongs to Jiaozuo ).
