The Diakoniegemeinschaft Stephansstift e.V. is committed to the tradition of the brotherhood of the Stephansstift and sees itself as a diaconal community . She is committed to a diaconal church in our society.

The Diakoniegemeinschaft Stephansstift has committed itself to the following tasks according to the statutes

Members

The Diakoniegemeinschaft Stephansstift consists of around 600 members who are divided into various regional conventions. In addition to the conventions, there is the board of directors, the committees and working groups. The conventions meet once a year or monthly, depending on the agreement, most of them about every three months. The convents should promote the community of the members among themselves and serve the exchange of experiences. They promote the common spiritual life and form an important basis of the community.
