Diakonisches Werk Rheinland-Westfalen-Lippe
The Diakonisches Werk Rheinland-Westfalen-Lippe , or Diakonie RWL for short , is a leading association in the field of welfare work by independent organizations . Its association area includes North Rhine-Westphalia and parts of Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Hesse. It represents around 5,000 Protestant social institutions with 130,000 employees and many volunteers. The association is based in Düsseldorf .
