Diana Ferrus

Diana Ferrus (born August 29, 1953 in Worcester ) is a South African poet .

Her most famous text is Tribute to Sarah Baartman . Without this poem, the remains of Baartman, known at the beginning of the 19th century as the “Hottentot Venus” (derived from Hottentots ), might still be hidden in the collection of the Musée de l'Homme in Paris .

2019 it was included in the anthology New Daughters of Africa by Margaret Busby added.
