Didube station platform

Didube is a station on the Tbilisi Metro . Didube is used by the Achmetelis-Teatri-Warketeli line .

It was opened in 1966. Architects were G. Modsmanishvili and N. Lomidze. At that time it was the end point of several stations on the Didube-Rustaweli line. Later it was called the Didube-Samgore-Line and today the name Didube is not included in the name. The station is a special feature of the Tbilisi Metro, as it was the only one built as an elevated railway station, along with Goziridse . As a result of the construction of a third line, Didube is to be connected to this and used as a transfer point. The station is between Goziridse and Ghrmaghele .
