Die Freudenspender (also: Benny & die Freudenspender ) was a German music group that only published so-called mood music.

The group Freudenspender can be assigned to the hit song and was particularly noticeable for its frivolous lyrics and drinking songs. Most of the songs were written by Heinz Schumacher or under his alias Ronny Hein. Other songwriters were Hans Werner , Joe Burgner (also Karl Götz), Fred Arand, Dieter Rasch and Georg Rüßmann (as Wal Barny).

The group released several singles on the German label Metronome between 1961 and 1975 and four singles with medleys on WPL in the mid-1980s . On February 1, 1962, she reached number 23 in the charts with her single Don't drink milk away from the child .
