Georg Rüßmann

Georg Rüßmann (born November 15, 1919 in Oberhausen-Sterkrade , † May 31, 1986 in Hennef (Sieg) ) was a German composer , conductor and musician . He used the pseudonyms Wal Barney , May Hames , Carlos Caribez and Otto Berkhaan .

Life

Since 1945 he has played in various dance orchestras (including "Rüssmann Rhythmiker") and worked as a musical arranger. From 1963 he was the conductor of the Siegerland musicians . As a composer he wrote various works for orchestra and songs.

His son Helmuth Rüßmann is a sound engineer (sound studio Rüßmann) and music producer (for Wolfgang Petry , BAP , Jürgen Drews, among others ).
