The teacher in school and home , founded in 1884; from 1910 the teacher , since 1924 ADLV - German teacher newspaper ; existed until 1933.

history

The founder of the magazine was the women's rights activist Marie Loeper-Housselle . Just one year after it was founded, the magazine had 1,100 subscribers. When the influential General German Teachers Association was founded in 1890 , The Teacher has functioned as its organ in school and home since then .
