The star wanderers

The Stardust (French Le Monde d'Edena ) is a six-part science fiction - comic book series of the author and illustrator Moebius aka Jean Giraud . The first volume, To the Stars, was originally commissioned by the car manufacturer Citroën for a company anniversary.

content

Stell and Atan, two space travelers, are stranded on a bare planet they call billiard ball. Attracted by a wondrous light on the horizon, they finally discover the Blue Pyramid and - around it - members of all the races of the galaxy who have been waiting there for millions of years. With Stell as the pilot, the pyramid takes off and carries it to the stars. Exposed from the pyramid on a heavenly garden planet, the androgynous Stell and Atan are slowly regaining their original humanity. It is slowly becoming clear that Atan is actually a woman - Atana. In addition to the dangers of nature, the two star walkers now also have to deal with their regained sexuality. In the further course of the series, the two independently encounter the very bizarre inhabitants of the planet. Your journey will not only get far beyond the limits of reality, but also into the depths of the human soul.

background

The contact with Guy-Claude Burger and his instinctive therapy prompted Jean Giraud to realize the vision of a return to nature and the rediscovery of man's natural nutritional instinct . The second volume shows how the two futuristic protagonists are returning to a raw food diet and rediscovering the original flavors of wild fruits and raw fish. The French version ( Le Monde d'Edena ) also includes a glossary that explains this original form of nutrition.
