Die Tenne was the title of a youth magazine from the circles of the Brethren Movement , which appeared from 1923 to 1974 (with an interruption during the Second World War ). It was initially published by Tenne-Verlag ( Elberfeld ) and later by R. Brockhaus Verlag . It carried successively the subtitle Christian monthly for the grown-up youth (since 1923, bi-monthly from 1925); Christian edification and entertainment sheet for youth and home (from 1936); A Journal Promoting Biblical Christianity (1938); Semi-monthly publication for youth who believe in Christ (1939–1941); Magazine for young people (from 1951); most recently it appeared under the title Neue Tenne (1971–1974).

The name of the magazine refers to Mt 3,12  ELB .
