World history is the world judgment

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

“World history is the last judgment” is a verse from Friedrich Schiller's poem “ Resignation ” (1784 or 1785). The sentence “can be interpreted or further developed in both an anti- eschatological and an ethical sense. For both interpretations it is essential that God is the actual historical agent in this ongoing judgment, whose determinations are carried out by men. "
