The break from work

The break from work was a popular entertainment program on Nazi radio.

The series started on February 2, 1936 with a broadcast by the Reichsender Köln . The break from work turned out to be a successful format. "Already in November 1936 it was adopted by almost all German broadcasters." The design of the word music program is similar to the radio series Wunschkonzert for the Winter Relief Organization , which was also launched in early 1936, and the forerunner of the wish concert for the Wehrmacht .
