Diocles of Magnesia

Diocles of Magnesia was a Greek specialist writer. It is unclear what place called Magnesia it came from. He lived in the 2nd century BC. And wrote a history of philosophy in three books that has not survived. It is quoted in 19 places by the historian of philosophy Diogenes Laertios (3rd century).

Diocles was friends with the epigram poet Meleager of Gadara (approx. 130-60 BC), who gave him his around 70 BC. Dedicated poem wreath published in BC.
