Dirk Weidlich

Dirk Weidlich is a former German American football player.

career

Weidlich played for the Hamburg Blue Devils from 1995 to 1999 . In 1996 he won the final of the German championship ( German Bowl ) with the team and the Eurobowl in 1996, 1997 and 1998 . Weidlich was a German national player, at the European Championship 2000 he came second with the selection of the American Football Association Germany (AFVD). Weidlich, who is 1.97 meters tall and weighed 155 kilograms during his playing career, was used in defense and attack by the Blue Devils. In 1997 , the Hamburger Morgenpost described him as a “man for all cases”.

As a trainer, he was part of the Hamburg Pioneers staff.
