  • for organ parts, that they only cover the upper half of the keyboard, see register (organ) #Half register
  • The three high melody strings on guitars (as opposed to the bass strings)
  • as an addition to the name the high pitch of an instrument (e.g. treble trombone), see treble (instrument)
  • on the accordion the right side of the instrument or the melody keyboard (as opposed to the bass keyboard)
