Divejak

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Divejak is a small, kayak-like, inflatable boat that offers space for one person. The name is derived from Dive, meaning diving and kayaking . It is used to transport a diver with diving equipment over smaller distances by sea to the dive site. The Divejak has very flat outer walls that make it easier to get out of the water. It is driven and steered with a paddle . When diving, the Divejak usually remains connected to the diver with a line and thus also serves as a signal buoy .
