Doddodo

Doddodo (spelled in capital letters ; * in Osaka Prefecture , Japan ) is a musician specializing in electronic music and breakcore . For her music, she uses a sampler , a Casio - keyboard and all sorts of gimmicks (and a children's toys, exotic.. Musical instruments ). Doddodo mainly uses 80s breakbeats and hip hop LPs as the basis of her pieces of music, she mixes these with various samples from often non-genre music styles (e.g. punk , world music , rap and Japanese folk songs ( Min'yō )). Because of this characteristic mix of styles, it is often assigned to the breakcore scene.

At the beginning she produced and released her albums herself on the Japanese label Renda Records , which is owned by the Japanese cybergrind musician Maruosa . On the recommendation of the Renda Records musician Ove-Naxx , she has been releasing on the British label AD AAD AT since 2002 .
