The Doha Port Stadium ( Arabic : ملعب ميناء الدوحة) is a planned football stadium in the Qatari capital Doha . The stadium is to offer 44,950 seats and is planned as one of the venues for the soccer world championship in 2022 . It will be on an artificial promontory. It will have a modular structure and will consist of recycled shipping containers . The dismantling should take place after the end of the World Cup in 2022.
