Double headlights are the front lights of a motorcycle with two light sources lying directly next to or one below the other. The EU directive of 1993, which had to be implemented in German law by 2000 (?), Regulates the details. For example, it specifies how two high beam, low beam headlights or parking lights (marker lights) must be arranged. It regulates the light color, the size of the light cone, the combination in which the headlights can be switched on and the type of indicator lights.
