The Dorsa Burnet is a group of ridges ( dorsa ) on the Earth's moon .
It is located in the northern hemisphere at 28 ° 24 'N / 57 ° W in the plain of Oceanus Procellarum between the craters Schiaparelli in the west and Herodotus in the east. In the north it touches the Montes Agricola and extends a little further to the northwest, between and parallel to Dorsa Whiston and Dorsum Scilla .
It was named in 1976 after the British geoscientist Thomas Burnet .
