The Dorveille is a ladies' hat , which the cylinder is similar to the man.

It was usually combined with colored bows and fastened with a wide silk ribbon under the chin. Before and during the early Biedermeier period , the Dorveille was also part of women's fashion in Germany after its introduction from France.
