Jonny Jakobsen (born November 17, 1963 in Malmö ; also Dr. Bombay ) is a Swedish Eurodance singer.

Career

Jakobsen began his musical career under the stage name Johnny Moonshine , but without having much success. He had his breakthrough in 1998 with the album Rice and Curry , which was in the charts across Europe. Jakobsen then played the alleged Indian taxi driver, Dr. Bombay . The two single releases from the album, Calcutta (28th place) and SOS (The Tiger Took My Family) (30th place) also reached chart positions.

Jonny Jakobson also brought albums as the alleged Scot Dr. MacDoo and later as the Mexican Carlito on the market, but only found attention in Sweden and Japan.
