Dragan Jočić
Dragan Jočić ( Serbian Драган Јочић ; * 1960 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian politician and was Serbian Interior Minister from 2004 to 2008 under Vojislav Koštunica .
Jočić studied at the Belgrade Faculty of Law . He has been a member of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) since its inception. Jočić is the party vice president and a member of the party's executive body. Since 2000 he has been a Member of the Parliament of Serbia and City Councilor of Belgrade.
When he was appointed Minister of the Interior, the media reported that at the age of 21 he was involved in a kiosk break-in and spent six months in prison for it. He confirmed the reports but called them irrelevant, stating that he was young and that all young people did similar things.
