Rotary thrust

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The rotary thrust , like Esson's utilization factor, is a variable used to evaluate the utilization of the rotor surface of electrical machines such as electric motors . To determine the rotary thrust σ, the surface of the rotor is related to the generated tangential force F or the torque M :

with the rotor or rotor diameter d and the length l of the rotor.
