Three point pliers

A three-point running average forceps is a commonly used in professional glass processing tool for the controlled breaking of glass.

She grips the glass that has been prepared for breaking with the glass cutter at two support points below and one support point above. Three-point cutting pliers are the crushing pliers with the largest jaw width. The support points simulate the traditional grip of the glazier with fingers and thumb. The jaws are adjusted to the glass thickness in front of the handle and grip the glass plane-parallel.

The use of the pliers allows a more precise grip, facilitates the breaking movement and reduces the risk of injury.

There are also three-point pliers for precise bending of wires, primarily in the dental field. These are indispensable for the production of the filigree curved brackets, anchors and arches on removable braces .
