Dresden Elbe Cup

The Elbe Cup is an annual long-distance rowing regatta on the Elbe in Dresden .

The regatta has its destination in Dresden at river km 49.3, that is about 700 m upstream of the Blue Wonder . The starting points are from there up the Elbe in 5 km, 10 km and 15 km distance. It is only started in large boats ( four and eight ). The races for children and the gigboat races for seniors are over 5 km, for B / A juniors over 10 km and for seniors ( racing boats ) over 15 km.

Usually the next day there is a comparison of cities between different cities in eastern and northern Germany.
