Drumbooth

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A drumbooth is a special recording room for music production.

It is usually a very small room with particularly aggressive acoustics. This gives the instruments a sonic assertiveness. The construction mostly follows a room-in-room concept. In other words, the drum booth is then a small, separate recording space within a larger one. The drumbooth is especially used to record drums, it is also used to record electric guitars.
