Ds Nöie Teschtamänt Bärndütsch

The Nöie Teschtamänt Bärndütsch is a translation of the Bible . It reproduces the original text of the New Testament in the Bernese dialect. The translation was done by Hans and Ruth Bietenhard on the Greek basis of the Novum Testamentum Graece (Nestle-Aland, Stuttgart 1981). It was published in 1984 by Berchtold Haller Verlag.

In 1990 the translators, together with their son, Ds Alte Teschtament bärndütsch, published a selection of texts from the Old Testament.
