Duel Painter (Corinthian Vase Painter)

The duel-painter was a provisional names designated ancient Greek vase painter who works in its Corinthian - black-style decorated. He worked during the Early Corinthian phase of the style (625 to 600 BC). The duel painter preferably decorated his aryballoi with battle scenes, which also earned him his emergency name. He was also one of the first Corinthian painters to paint birds.
