Stupid fever

The Stupid Koller ( Morosis , brain edema , obsolete: sleeping, breastfeeding, eavesdropping Koller, stargazers) is an incurable brain disease of the horse . As a result of a drainage obstruction, the cerebral fluid accumulates in the cavity system of the brain . Symptoms

The first symptom is a certain, easily overlooked indolence.

This then increases over the course of weeks and months into immobility for minutes. The affected horse forgets to chew and it becomes more and more difficult to work with the horse. The horse makes an apathetic impression and does not react to environmental influences. The animal crosses its legs, sticks its head up over its nostrils into the water and runs against the wall.
