The Dundas Square (officially: Yonge-Dundas Square ) is a public square in downtown Toronto . It is located on the southeast corner of the intersection between Dundas Street and Yonge Street and opened in November 2002. Because of the bend through Dundas Street, the square is pentagonal in shape. The square was designed by the Brown + Storey architects and is located at the north end of the Eaton Center . Every year the square is frequented by 56 million people, making it one of the busiest places in Canada .
