The Dutenhofener See is an approx. 36 hectare bathing and fishing lake in the central Hessian city of Wetzlar . Depending on the subsurface, it is between three and eleven meters deep. There are three islands in Dutenhofener See, each around 25 to 50 meters in diameter.
Local sailing is practiced on the lake. There is also an approx. 950 square meter, fine sandy beach and a large campsite.

The Dutenhofer See is the largest of several bathing lakes in Wetzlar. It is located directly between the Lahn in the north and the federal highway 49 in the south.
