Dziennik Chicagoski

The Dziennik Chicagoski ( Chicago daily newspaper ) was a daily newspaper in the Polish language , which was published in Chicago from 1890 to 1971 by the resurrectionists there .

The newspaper was founded by priests Wincenty Barzyński and Jan Radziejowski and was associated with the Zjednoczenie Polskie Rzymsko-Katolickie . The first editor-in-chief was Stanisław Szwajkart . He was followed by Henryk Nagiel and Karol Wachtl , among others .

From 1939 on, the newspaper was published in English .

In 1971 the Dziennik Chicagoski was converted into the daily newspaper Polacy w Chicago .
